I know! haha. But that’s ok. I like images of color flowers against black backgrounds. It looks like they are internally glowing. And while the contrast is gorgeous in the black and white shot, I love the pop of green at the bottom. Superb!
So pretty! As much as I love the subtlety in the color I think the monochrome is the better choice simply because of the flaws in the petals. Without those, I’d flip a coin 😀
In this particular case I think the B&W is the better choice.

I should say why . . . the color of the flower is already muted (not dramatic), fairly homogeneous, and the B&W further masks the flaws in the petals.
Also . . . being contrarian, I’m guessing many will go with the color versions.

I like the B&W better too.

I always say I’m a mono guy but I like how the colour highlights the flaws in this picture

Mono, there isnt a lot of color to start with. Plus the texture and shapes really stand out in the top image

They’re both beautiful but I would go with the Black and White on this one.

I’m a sucker for B&W images so it’s the monochrome for me!

I really like them both, but I think I favor the black and white.

The black and white version really pops in this case. The eye is drawn immediately to the pedals, not so much the case with the color version.
