I’m shooting for JDRF

Tomorrow I will be donating my services to the Northern Nevada affiliate of the  Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

I’ll be taking part in this year’s Walk to raise funds for the millions of people living with and affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). Well, I actually won’t be walking, I’ll be photographing the event and donating my images to Northern Nevada JDRF.

But, I wanted to put my money where my camera was and raise money for this worthy cause. So please, if you can, help me reach my goal. I’ve only got one more day to do it. The walk is tomorrow, September 28th!!! The money I raise will help JDRF fund critical research to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until no one has to fear developing the disease.I’ll be wandering the quad and the course at the University of Nevada with camera in tow.  I’ve also set up a donation page, if you’d like to contribute to this worthy cause.

Walk to Cure Diabetes

Busy me

I’ve been up to my neck with stuff to do (work, family, ClickAway conference, another portrait class, and a paying gig), that I’ve  barely had time to catch my breath. Still, I managed to capture Jezebel by lamp and TV light, the other night.

Outside the temple gates

Passersby.

Maybe.

Don’t look.

Keep walking.

Waiting.

Maybe?

Kindness and connection.

Human beings.
