T-shirt sold to help provide scholarship funds for Jessica Ahlquist, the sixteen-year-old Rhode Island high school student who won her lawsuit to have the prayer banner removed from her public high school gym, and who had to endure the wrath of her community for standing up for the separation of Church and State. Democratic State Representative, Peter Palumbo, called her “an evil little thing” during a radio interview.
She is a personal hero of mine.
The fellow to the right is my friend Jerry, a military veteran. I snapped this shot of him last October telling Jessica that she was the bravest person he’d ever met.

I agree with him! She´s braver than I would have been, but not braver than you would have been, Carissa. But I´m not really an athiest, either, so that´s some excuse.

But the thing is, it has nothing to do with belief in the supernatural. It’s about the Constitution.
