A year of self #67 – Lashes

Yes, I am sitting up straight.
If you have a young daughter, make sure she is screened at around age 12 or so, and if needed, treated before the damage is irreparable.

But then they reward me. So, why complain?

No makeup, plenty of texture. I see a bit of my grandmother’s face in mine, and that is not a bad thing.

I realize I am a day behind, and I hope to get caught up by posting a second image later today (after I get the groceries bought and the house tidied up).
My entry for this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.
Orange you glad it’s photo challenge time? Time for another multi-photo challenge! Wow us with punchy pops of orange.

Sorry all. Nina’s recovery from her surgeries* last Tuesday has been rougher than I would have liked, though she seems to have turned a corner this morning (hoping!), my self-portraits have been pushed to the back burner.
Here’s a weirdly distorted image of Jezebel and me. Although her meow makes her seem larger than she is, she’s really not bigger than me.

*Cherry eye repair; teeth: cleaned and a couple of extractions; nails; removal of a mass on her hind end (waiting for the biopsy results is killing me).
My contribution to this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo challenge.
For me, as a photographer, there is nothing more rewarding than having a client swear to me that she never takes a good picture, that no photo ever looks like her, and then have her fall in love with what we create together.
