You do have some photogenic family members of the canine persuasion! I used to really enjoy shooting regular portraits of our family dog (an 11 year old pug) in her younger “cute” years before she turned silver and haggard-looking from being loved to death by two babies, but the biggest problem now is that she nearly always tenses up in pavlovian anticipation of some type of reward. Even if I try to sneak up on her for a candid picture, her ears flop in the goofiest way the second she notices the camera. I didn’t think I spoiled her that much in the years past, but I guess I did!
So just shoot her like that! That’s who she is and I bet you can capture some special moments. Nina is not always this mellow, I’ve got some really goofy shots of her. 🙂

Ha ha, poor Nina. It’s her own fault she has those cute eyes.

My thought exactly. If she wasn’t so adorable, I wouldn’t be shoving my camera in her face all the time. 😉
