Day 215 – Playing with Pan

I worked on showing motion by panning today. This is the best of what I shot. I’m going to keep working on this. It’s fun!

    • My understanding is that you will likely never have the subject completely in focus, though that is the goal. It is not easy, that’s for sure, and I guess the question arises for the photographer, how important is this particular skill to them? How much energy do they want to expend to master something they may use only once in blue moon? I’d like to get a decent handle on it, but others may not find it to be their cup of tea. For instance, I really don’t care to work hard on HDR, though some people absolutely love it and pursue it with a passion. Some people love Macro, others, not so much. To quote the King of Siam: Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera!
