Day 342 – At the playground

I was scoping out a local park where I have plans to do a photo shoot on Sunday.  The curves and shapes of the playground caught my eye.

  1. Playgrounds are have great potential for abstraction work – the colours are usually so vibrant. Unfortunately, nowadays, such places are out of bounds for unaccompanied gentlemen, especially when children are about – and having a camera anywhere near- well let’s say that such an individual might very soon have his camera shoved where the sun don’t shine – I tend to leave well alone.

    • There were no children playing there when I was shooting, though some did show up later with their parents. At that point I left because I wasn’t there to shoot people at all.

      • The last time I tried, I got my collar felt by some security guards – not that they caused me a particular problem, they simply wanted to know what I was doing. But the whole anticipation/approach/challenge was not comfortable.
