Spring is busting out all over in my backyard. I shot these this morning while the sun was still relatively low in the sky.
Some apple blossoms . . .
I’m loving the rim from the sunlight in this one.
The lilacs have gone nuts.
I plan on posting more of my f/2.2 photos a bit later today, but first I have PRINTING to do!

Don’t you just love spring. These are beautiful. The tulips in my yard haven’t bloomed yet, but they all look like they’ll be blooming in the next few days. I’m looking forward to that.

Thanks Joanna. The printing is coming along. I hope to have them all finished by today. Then I’ll be culling. I’m printing more photos than I will eventually present, so decisions have to be made. This project is different from my final project for my photography class last semester where my subject matter was well-defined. If anyone is interested in seeing that series, I posted it here. Disclaimer, printed photos looked better than the ones posted. Printing just adds a depth to a photo that the intertubes appears to strip away.

I took a look at your series and I was impressed…that must have taken a awful lot of time… to shoot at daylight and then the same at night… well done!
so now it’s decisiontime… well good luck on that one 😀 😀

Thanks Joanna. Yes, the series took a lot of time, not to mention that it was shot in late November, early December. There were some shoots when I thought my fingers were going to fall off from the cold!
