I had a breakfast meeting and then needed to go shoot my friend for my lighting class assignment, but I had a few moments to myself between both appointments so I stopped by the pond near Nevada Power. The weather was gorgeous. If we’re not going to get winter, then I’ll settle for this!

They are plain, mundane, simple, but I have an affinity for sparrows. One of my most favorite shots ever is of a sparrow on our umbrella tree in our old house in Michigan.
Nice photographs, especially the “catching the light” on the drake’s eyes. Very nice.

nice photos …we own duck thee small ones the ones in ur photo and two big white ones and the newest arrival their babies 6 ..with no pond around the look really dirt y but rain is coming 🙂
