Day 62 – Now that the drugs have kicked in . . .

I had to visit my periodontist today for two gum grafts. Needless to say, I’m not on top of the world. But I’ve got drugs.

Taken before the fun began, I couldn’t help but notice this syringe looked like it had been around for a while. Hey, if it still does the job (and it did), why not keep it around as long as it’s useful?  Hmm…I think I just said something profound (or it’s just the drugs talking).

Off to take a nap now.

    • LOL!!

Seriously, I did ask him about the age of the little silver thing next to the syringe and that tool is about 8 years old, and he did admit that he has some tools that are thirty years old! I don’t think the syringe is that old, but who knows? It looked solid but well-used. I’d say Dr. Lang is my age or a bit older, but I’m getting worse at guessing age the older I get. He’s at least my age.

  1. Something about this post just makes me laugh my head off. The photograph is great (really neat composition and focal point), but your description and the comments that accompany it make it all the more fun.
