On Frozen Pond

I stopped by duck pond today. We’ve had sub-freezing temps for several weeks, with very little respite, and the pond is mostly frozen over.

Freezing fog made for some pretty pogonip.

I visited the duck pond at lunch today. I happened to be close by when four ducks decided, one-by-one, to take a leap into the drink.

I haven’t stopped at the duck pond in a while, but I left work a bit early today. Much activity at the pond this afternoon.
