Day 2

Two again today, because it’s a non-work day. Besides,  I couldn’t let the sunrise go to waste.  (Don’t expect this every day.)

And later in the day I wanted to experiment with turning off the automatic stabilizer so I set about shooting the coat rack and kept moving in closer and closer until I got here.

I was pretty happy with the exposure and clarity of both shots which required only minimal adjustments in Photoshop.

Day 1

Here you go. Two for the price of one.  I couldn’t decide.

You might as well get to know the animals early on. This is Buddy, our German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix (age: 8). When shooting animals or people, I always try to focus on their eyes.

It’s only January, but I’m already hungry for spring. I love the texture and color of these leaves hanging on through the dead of winter.

Practice

Admittedly I’m avoiding chores, but hey, I need to practice for the big day tomorrow, right?  All were shot from the front stoop.

This is Nina. And yes, that’s me. In my robe. Gah.

I did it

Now I have to do it.

This is the home of my 365 project.  A photo a day for a year. I guess that makes it a 366 project since 2012 is a leap year.  I’ll probably throw some other photos up here as well.

I hope I don’t lose my mind. The count starts Sunday, January 1, 2012.

This is Jezebel.
