Their daughter isn’t even walking on her own yet, and most people would understand if they chose to stay home, but this young family drove over 200 miles from the San Francisco Bay Area to northern Nevada to canvass on behalf of our candidates. It was that important to them.
Liam is now ten weeks old. I asked his mommy and daddy to come in for a casual session. These images make my heart sing.
Yesterday Kayla and Cory came over to my home studio for our second session. I am so grateful to this couple for being open to me and allowing me the privilege of photographing this very special time in their lives. Here are just a few from our session.
My friend Matt approached me during the summer about doing a family shoot as a birthday present for his mom. It took some time and wrangling of schedules, but we were finally able to pull it off. I love this family. Laughing comes easy to them, and it is clear they adore each other.
Here are a few from the shoot.
We had a lot of fun, even when the four of them would get into a deep discussion and I’d have to wave my hand and remind them, “Hello! Photographer! Over here!”
I had the pleasure of photographing Brent, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, and six-month-old Timmy last Saturday. Such love in this family!
I had the honor of doing a very special shoot yesterday. Katie is my co-worker and friend. Her mom. Cathy, has cancer. Today was a good day. This week was a good week. We took advantage. We had fun. Aren’t they gorgeous?
More to come, even some from the chaotic pet shoot afterward. Hint, what happens when you mix four canines and three women (one of whom fancies herself a photographer?
High on Amber’s Must-Have shots was one of her with her mom and her son.
The Mother and Daughter are co-workers of mine. There is so much love in this family. We had a wonderful shoot. More to come.

More to come.
