By the way, I just reorganized my Critters folder on SmugMug as the single “Critters” folder had gotten unwieldy. So I made galleries for each of the critters’ individual photographs (Buddy, Jezebel, Maya and Nina), as well as a Combinations gallery . You can probably guess whose individual gallery is the largest.

New Vantage Point

I’ve taken to leaving the living room blinds open halfway during the day so the dogs can watch the goings on in the cul-de-sac. Buddy has discovered that the sofa gives him a comfortable vantage point.

Nina likes to stand on her hind legs with her front paws on the window sill or just dance on the love seat opposite the sofa.

Black Bullet

For exercise, Nina runs around the yard at breakneck speed. There is no one chasing her, nor is she chasing anyone or anything.

The weekend goes too fast.

This was taken in our backyard this last Friday. Surprisingly, even though it’s been plenty cold for it, the grass hasn’t turned brown yet. I think the layer of snow that sat on it for two weeks had something to do with that.
