Day 321 – Outside the Sparks Theater

We met some friends tonight for dinner and a movie. Sweetie and I beat our friends to the theater which gave me an opportunity to snap some shots with my iPhone and the Hipstamatic app. This was my favorite and was taken looking out from the theater toward John Ascuaga’s Nugget on Victorian Avenue.

By the way, the movie we saw was “Lincoln,” which is a fantastic film. Steven Spielberg has done it again. The story and acting are superb, and the cinematography was incredible. The film had cool tone and felt to my eyes like a textured vintage photograph. I highly recommend the film. If you can, go see it. Do not wait for the DVD.

Day 303 – Casting a long shadow

I’m sick, but I still put in a full day at work. My camera never made it out my car, let alone out of the camera bag. I snapped this with my iPhone using the Hipstamatic app as I was heading out to my car after work.

Day 277 – Lunch

We have a nice tradition at our work place. Every other week, from May through September, our company springs for ice cream for the entire site. An ice cream truck pulls up into the parking lot and  everyone lines up for a treat. It’s very happy-making. Sadly, today was our last ice cream day for the year.  I snapped this with my iPhone using the Hipstamatic app.

Day 220 – Hip Palm Trees

On the street where my parents live. I remember when the fronds from these trees brushed my face as I skated by on the sidewalk.
