Lots of rain is coming through our area with expected flooding in a number of areas. We are high enough at our house to avoid the danger, fortunately.

Winter has us in her icy grip. Bitterly cold today, with snow and a lot of rain coming in the next week.
Anniversary, of sorts
A year ago we very much thought we were losing Maya. She was as thin as a rake and not eating enough to keep a bird alive. Thanks to veterinary science she’s still with us. If all goes well, she will turn fifteen in May.

It rained ALL day today, so there was no going outside for something a bit “more.” However, I had to take some award photos today at work and that meant utilizing my card reader. So here you go.
