Day 337 – Last Day in L.A.

It was a good trip to L.A. this weekend.  Dad is looking good, he is genuinely smiling, and he has put on some weight.  He’s still pretty weak and he’s got a lot of physical therapy in his future, but I’m feeling optimistic. They got him out of bed and into an ortho-chair today which meant we could go outside for some fresh air and Dad could visit with Ta-Shi!

    • If there is any resemblance, it’s only because my dad likes a certain “type.” She is my step-mother (no blood relation, but plenty of love anyway). However, I do really resemble my father’s side of the family (especially his mother, my grandmother). I definitely got his nose, his eyes, and his legs and feet.
