Day 313 – Thistles in a tractor

Literally across the street from my work, smack dab in the middle of the city of Reno is a small homestead with cows, a small pasture and a farm-house. In a far corner of this property is the skeleton of a tractor with thistles growing up through its bones.

Day 312 – Late afternoon break time

I took a walk this afternoon.

I visited the cows across the way . . .

And then I looked up . . .

After I got back to my office I fiddled around with shallow depth of field  for a bit . . .

That is all.

Day 310 – Dried thistles against the sky

Terribly busy day, early sunset now that Daylight Saving Time is over, and then I came home to a sick husband. Rather than stumble around the house and disturb him, I’m posting this shot that I took the other day.  Hope you like it.

Day 309 – Precinct Walk

I spent a good portion of the last two days walking neighborhoods in my county for my chosen Presidential candidate. I snapped a portion of my walk list with my iPhone. I added a few effects via my Photoshop app for iPad.

Day 307 – Seed Pods

On my walk about the grounds today I was taken with way the afternoon sun brought out the texture of these delicate seed pods. If you look very closely, you can see the dark seed within the slightly open pod. Click on the image for a larger version.
