Daughter and her fiance were supposed to come over this weekend for some portraits, but they couldn’t make it. Sweetie kindly consented to being my model.

I’ve been working all day on my photos from last weekend. I’ve just uploaded over 200 of them to SmugMug and am in processing of publishing them to the group’s Facebook page. I still have the reception photos to finish up, but the major part of the project is complete.
I managed to get in a little bit of shooting today too. Jezebel was not impressed with me disturbing her nap.
I haven’t stopped at the duck pond in a while, but I left work a bit early today. Much activity at the pond this afternoon.

I’m fascinated by these shrubs. I hope you don’t mind a repeat of them. I just love how the afternoon sun makes them shine.
Edited to add: A friend came to the rescue and identified this. It is alderleaf mountain mahogany.
I am up to my eyeballs trying to go through and process the Sacramento Freethought Day photos. I was the event photographer and am on a deadline to get them done as quickly as possible. But I still have a regular job too! Hence, I did no shooting at all yesterday, so here are a couple from Saturday. I hope I’m able to get out with my camera today.
