I haven’t stopped at the duck pond in a while, but I left work a bit early today. Much activity at the pond this afternoon.

Believe it or not, I went to the library today, and stopped at the small lake right behind it . . . to take photos of ducks and a couple of odd-looking geese.
However, it was a rare overcast day. Mine are not in the sun.
Great flying shots . . . I did not get any of those.

I got to witness a couple of flocks going through their pre-flight vocalizations. Like a drill sergeant lining up the troops. I have other photos from that, but didn’t post those. Very cool!

Very nice pics… I like how you captured the motion in the 2nd one, the way he/she is stretching their neck is really nice… you capture it at the right moment 🙂
