Reno was right in the line of the annular eclipse, and I did my best to capture it. Shot at ISO 100, 1/4000s, f/32. And I still had to underexpose in Bridge and Photoshop, and changed the color balance to give them a glow.
But what a show! Fortunately, we has eclipse viewing glasses! These look very close to what we saw through the glasses.

It would have been nice to see, and the pictures are awesome.
. . . but . . . did you use a filter at all? Something like an ND or polarized filter? Seems that even at the fast exposure and high f-stop there’s risk to damaging the sensor (or at least they warn you not to shoot directly into the sun).
Just wondering; I have not done any research on it.

Only thing I had was my UV filter. Camera appears to be working fine post eclipse.

That is very cool. It was too cloudy here to see anything at all. It just seemed to get a little darker.
