I can no longer wear high heels for an evening out. Not even these. My metatarsal joints just can’t take it and resulting pain has me hobbled within five minutes. Now, where are my Danskos?
Strange thing about shoes…we get impressed with the appearance. But then once in use they either fit perfect or are shear hell to wear and it appears no way of knowing till you get out into the wide world. ….no halfway measures (-: Nice shot
Very true. And these used to be my comfortable dress shoes. I have others that are absolute torture. Fine for standing still and not much of anything else!
Lovely shot, but sorry to hear of your foot problems. I’ve been suffering from metatarsophalangeal joint pain for a few years now, so I can sympathise.
I’m with you. I haven’t been able to wear heels in quite some time. Probably the result of getting older and all the years on my feet. Cute shoes though.
me too dear Carissa, 🙂 As always you did a nice photograph. Thanks and Love, nia

I can remember “older women” telling me when I was young to “enjoy them now” – now I know what they meant!
